Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a well-established supplier of racking & storage seeking a new salesperson to manage and develop their business across the Midlands. With a competitive basic salary and excellent earning potential this is a great opportunity for either an individual with a sales background or an experienced racking & storage salesperson looking to progress in their career.
Responsibilities
- Managing an existing client base across the East Midlands & Yorkshire
- Business development across the same area
- Generate new business by visiting customers on site, conducting site surveys and providing customer quotes for racking and other equipment
- Providing a consultative sales approach in order to win new business in the sale of racking and storage solutions
- Collaborate with our design and installation teams to deliver end-to-end projects
- Take responsibility for region revenue stream and overall growth
Requirements
Our client is looking for a candidate with either experience within the Racking & Storage industry or an enthusiastic salesperson willing to learn the industry. You will be proactive in your approach to selling and will ideally have experience of conducting site surveys and providing detailed quotations. Ultimately, the company are seeking an individual with a strong customer focus, willing to learn and who is suited to a growing SME. In terms of location, experience racking sales candidates can be further afield but candidates with less experience will ideally be located within The East Midlands or South Yorkshire.

Selling a variety of the leading racking brands’ products, they are able to offer varied solutions to their client base. Having been established for 4 years now, they have gained a strong foothold in Derbyshire and are continuing to expand year on year. Rapid expansion has meant that they are looking to build their team further.
