Alexander James Recruiting are working with one of the UK’s leading Racking and Warehouse Automation installations companies looking to recruit an Installations Supervisor. Focusing on the installations of Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (AS/RS), this role will cover the whole of the UK. With a competitive basic salary and potential of sponsorship for non-UK citizens, this is a great opportunity for a candidate with experience installing AS/RS systems.
Responsibilities
· Overseeing the installation of AS/RS automated racking systems across the UK
· Supervising and training a team of installers on site
· Reading autoCAD drawings and assisting of staff with the interpretation of drawings
· Maintaining relationships with contractors, suppliers and customers
· Keeping up to date with all project related paperwork to include measurement protocols, project reports and installations inspections
Requirements
Due to the requirements of the position, it is vital that you have experience of installing AS/RS automated racking systems as well as experience of supervising a team. You will ideally be able to read autoCAD drawings and use project management software. The ability to work on your own initiative is vital for this as you will be expected to travel across the UK as and when the role needs you to. In terms of location, you will ideally be based in the UK, however the company are able to sponsor candidates if they have all of the relevant experience abroad. You must hold a driver’s license.
