Job Description

Alexander James Recruiting has been retained by an international provider of fully automated and semi automated pallet shuttle’s seeking an energetic and ambitious individual to assist them developing their customer base across the East Coast. With a strategic plan in place and excellent earning potential this is a fantastic long term opportunity for a capable sales professional within the warehousing/intralogistics sphere.

 Responsibilities

  • Develop a key understanding of the companies range of innovative & premium pallet shuttle products 
  • Form and develop relationships with key warehouse automation integrators, racking & storage manufacturers’ & distributors and other routes to market
  • Where possible, develop relationships with end user’s to include OEM’s, FMCG and 3PL’s
  • Conduct site survey’s and detailed quotations in order to sell pallet shuttle systems effectively 
  • Attend various customer exhibitions and have the flexibility to travel where and when required 

Requirements

The company require an individual who is a self-starter and able to develop relationships successfully via various revenue streams. It is essential you have a strong sales track record from within intralogistics having worked either in warehouse automation/robotics, racking & storage, material handling or similar. Knowledge of shuttle systems would be preferable though not essential but a general warehousing appreciation and the ability to provide a consultative approach is essential. In terms of location the region involves coverage of Massachusetts down to North Carolina with the mid west included. Within reason, the ideal candidate could therefore be based in a number of states including the above as well as Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Indiana or Illinois.

An international group, our client is an innovative manufacturer within the warehousing and intralogistics sphere. In addition to providing pallet shuttle systems they also work heavily in supplying other automated products. Their products are premium and well integrated with various software. Due to success across North America and elsewhere, they’re now looking to expand their operations into both in the US and internationally.
