Job Description

Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a fast growing of various racking and storage solutions looking to recruit a new Business Development Manager to cover and develop their client base across the UK. With excellent, uncapped commission opportunities and scope for growth, this is a great opportunity for an experienced capital equipment sales professional looking for a new opportunity.

Responsibilities

· Managing an existing client base the UK

· Business development across the same area focusing in selling to end user’s

· Generate new business by visiting customers on site, conducting site surveys and providing customer quotes for racking, storage, barriers and shelving

· Providing a consultative sales approach in order to win new business in the sales of racking and storage solutions

· Take responsibility for region revenue stream and overall growth

Requirements

Racking experience is by no means essential for the role but the company are looking from candidates with a technical background within the warehousing sphere who show a consultative approach and have strong interpersonal skills. You will be proactive in your approach to selling and will ideally have experience of conducting site surveys and providing detailed quotations. Knowledge of CAD would be advantageous but not essential. In terms of locality you can be in theory based anywhere across the country given our client generates opportunities in various areas.

Our client are a fast growing provider of various products related to warehousing and logistics. Providing racking & shelving they also supply barriers & barrier protection products, conveyors and line marking among other products. Part of a wider group that works in the Education sector and with continued growth the company are now seeking a new sales person to develop their racking & storage products.
