Job Description

Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with an innovative provider of warehouse robotics products seeking a new Business Development Manager to work nationally providing AMR solutions. With excellent earning potential this is a great opportunity for a driven and solutions focused sales professional. 

Responsibilities

· Generate new business opportunities in the sale of AMR’s focusing on Warehouse & Logistics/3PL & Retail

· Work with automation integrators and other warehouse partners in order to generate and convert leads for automation and robotics projects

· Attend customer sites to conduct site survey’s and provide automation solutions

· Prepare business proposal’s & quotations

· Attend various warehouse automation & robotics related exhibitions on behalf of the company

Requirements

As well as being a driven sales professional who is motivated to make money, the successful candidate will also be highly solutions focused with the ability to consult customer’s on warehousing requirements. You will preferably have experience of having sold into warehousing & logistics/3PL and have an appreciation of large projects within the sector. Although automation or robotics experience is preferable it is by no means essential and our client would consider an individual from other backgrounds such as Material Handling or Racking & Storage for example. The role is national with no set location required.

Relatively new to the UK market, our client are an innovative and fast growing provider of Warehouse Robotic solutions. Their range of AMR products with strong picking efficiency and their ability to form strong partnerships with other Warehouse & Logistics provider’s has enabled them to expand quickly and work with various retailer’s and 3PL’s among other customers. Due to this fast expansion, the company are now seeking further sales people to build on this.
