Job Description

Alexander James recruiting is currently representing a national provider of various warehouse products & services seeking a new Business Development Manager. The role will involve targeting both end user’s and trade customer’s. With a competitive basic salary & other benefits, this is a great opportunity for an individual with an understanding of Racking & Storage or other, related products and services interested in a challenging. 

Responsibilities

  • Target both end user’s and racking and storage trade/distribution customer’s in selling warehouse labelling, signage & netting
  • Spot opportunities to sell other warehouse products and services
  • Attend customer site’s and conduct site surveys 
  • Liaise with the projects and installations teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget and delivered successfully 
  • Build relationships with a variety of stakeholders within warehousing & logistics to assist the company in generating revenue

Requirements

The company require an individual who has the ability to build relationships with a variety of people. The successful individual will be a natural sales person who enjoys getting involved with warehouse projects and has a strong understanding of how they work. It is highly preferable that this individual has a degree of experience of working with trade/distribution customer’s within the racking & storage sector or at the very least has extensive sales experience within racking & storage and understands the premise of what the role requires. Our client is open on location and there re some travel requirements nationally though not expected day to day.

  • Competitive salary up to £60,000 (depending on experience)

  • 21 days holiday + stat increasing after 12 month’s service to 22 & Christmas Shutdown
