Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading provider of industrial batteries and related products. Focusing predominantly on the material handling sector they require a new Customer Support Manager to assist with the management of their service operations nationally. Responsibilities
- Supporting and developing the service department across the UK
- Following up on in-bound new business leads for service enquiries
- Maintaining relationships with existing customers, making sure their service requirements are met
- Assisting with the development of long-term business strategy and implementing these strategies accordingly
- Monitoring systems to ensure compliance with industry/security standards
- Meeting with Regional Service Team Leaders to ensure each region is being managed effectively from a service perspective
Requirements
The company are ideally looking for an experienced management professional from within the Material Handling industry. They would also be open to candidates working for an ancillary provider such as attachments, batteries etc.The role could also suit an individual that works in a closely related industry such as Construction Equipment or Commercial Vehicles. In terms of job role experience, having an engineering background would be beneficial but it isn’t essential and customer support backgrounds would be considered. In terms of location, the company have a preference for an individual based in the Midlands or the North.

- Up to £40,000 (depending on experience)
