Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a well-established, expanding material handling company looking to recruit a new Field Service Engineer to service their client base across the South East. With a competitive salary & overtime opportunity plus numerous other benefits, this is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer interested in a new role.
Responsibilities
- Servicing a client based across the South East of England
- Servicing forklift trucks & other material handling equipment
- Fixing other equipment to include plant hire, cleaning equipment and specialist forklifts
- Ensuring excellent customer service and representing the company in the right way when servicing forklifts & other equipment
- Attending the workshop from time to time to collect parts
Requirements
The company have a preference for an individual from a forklift truck background, but this is not essential. The company are open to considering candidates from a heavy plant or commercial vehicles background. You will be able to work well on your own initiative and have good customer-facing skills. Ultimately, the company are after an individual with the right attitude and work ethic. In terms of location, you can be based anywhere within the South East including Folkestone, Tunbridge Wells, Hastings, Eastbourne, Crawley, Horsham and Worthing.

Due to recent expansion, they’re now looking to add another engineer to their team.
