Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with one of the world’s leading Material Handling equipment manufacturers that are looking to recruit a new Field Service Team Leader to assist with the running or the field service team across the Peterborough postcodes. Responsibilities
- Leading the forklift engineers working across the Peterborough postcodes
- Working alongside the Service Manager in overseeing the aftersales throughout the region
- Assisting the field based engineers fixing and servicing Material Handling equipment
- Ensuring excellent customer service and representing the company in the right way when visiting customer sites
- Developing an understanding of the manufacturer’s products and assisting with new staff further down the line
Requirements
The company have a preference for an individual with experience of leading a team within the forklift industry, however this is not essential. Another option they would consider is a candidate that is currently working as a forklift engineer and has aspirations to step up. They will also consider candidate with a background working within a closely related industry such as plant equipment, automotive, commercial vehicles or similar, provided they have strong leadership experience. In terms of location, you will need to be based within a Peterborough postcode.
