Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a well-established manufacturer of material handling equipment who are seeking a new Head of National Accounts to manage a team of Account Manager’s in addition to a number of major accounts as well. With a competitive package and excellent career prospects this is a great opportunity for an experienced Manager or Account Manager within the material handling industry seeking a challenging and rewarding role.
Responsibilities
· Mentor, lead and manage a team of national account manager’s within the material handling industry
· Develop and deliver overall national accounts strategy
· Managing a small number of major accounts with fleet size’s of 200+
· Deliver sales targets and profitable market share growth in line with the company objectives
· Work with the Customer Contract team within national accounts to ensure smooth running of customer accounts
Requirements
The successful candidate will ideally be an experience Management professional within the material handling sector having experience of managing high level accounts of at least 100 fleet+. Individuals without management experience may also be of consideration. You will have a strategic focus to both management and your approach to managing and winning business at a high level. The company are particularly interested in individuals with the ability to question and challenge the norm in addition to providing strong attention to detail in assisting national account manager’s with opportunities.
