Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading, international supplier of various racking and storage solutions looking to recruit a new Health & Safety Manager to oversee their projects across the UK. With a good package, this is a great opportunity for an individual with Health & Safety management experience within intralogistics or construction.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring that industry safety standards are adhered to throughout the duration of all projects across the UK
- Carrying out risk assessments for each project worked on
- Assisting with the management of external contractors on site and ensuring that the company’s products are safely installed
- Creating reports for any incidents that occur on site
- Overseeing the development of internal Health & Safety regulations
- Travelling to customer sites across the UK
Requirements
It is essential to role that you have experience of managing Health & Safety within Intralogistics or Construction and hold a valid Health & Safety qualification. It would also be preferable for you to hold a degree in a related field, but this isn’t essential provided you have experience of Health & Safety and Site Management. In terms of location, the roles would be covering the whole of the UK but there is a preference for Midlands based candidates.
