Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading supplier of Commercial Vehicles that are seeking a HGV Technician to carry out maintenance at their depot in Grantham on a rotating shift pattern. Responsibilities
- Carrying out repairs, inspections and preventative maintenance of HGV’s from the company’s depot in Grantham for customers in the surrounding areas
- Working closely with repairs teams in carrying out diagnostics of HGV’s
- Maintaining all related administrative tasks to include completion of records, documentation and paperwork
- Ensuring that the highest levels of Health & Safety, Compliance and quality are adhered to
- Working closely with the rest of the workshop team and the Manager
- Representing the company in a professional manner when communicating with customers
Requirements
In terms of experience, you will ideally be a qualified HGV Technician holding an NVQ level 3 or equivalent. It is also essential that you are able and willing to work a rotating shift pattern Monday to Friday working 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm on alternating weeks. In terms of location, you will need to be based within commutable distance of Grantham.
