Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with an international manufacturer of Automotive batteries looking to bring on an Applications Engineer to work with the company’s key accounts and work alongside the Key Account Manager. With excellent potential within a worldwide industry leading company, this is a great opportunity for a driven and experienced individual with a technical background looking for a new role.
Responsibilities
· Reporting to, and working alongside, the UK based International Key Account Manager
· Giving technical support to customers and to internal sales and service staff across Europe and Korea
· Project managing the implementation of the company’s products to key account customers
· Existing with the development of the accounts
· Developing a high level of understanding for the company’s product range and uses
· Travelling to customer sites across Europe & Korea as well as worldwide when needed
Requirements
The company are ideally looking for an individual with a technical understanding with a background working within batteries or the Automotive industry. This isn’t essential however; the company are open to candidates who have a similar background within a closely related industry provided they have exceptional communication skills in both English and Korean. A background in Project Management would also be highly preferable as this will be a key responsibility of the position. In terms of location, you can be based anywhere in the UK but there will be an expectation to travel both nationally and internationally. It is vital you hold a full UK driver’s license.
