Job Description

Alexander James Recruiting is working with a leading manufacturer of various heavy and light duty conveyors, seeking a motivated and strategic sales professional to develop their range of light duty conveyors, service & parts. With a mix of end user and integrator sales this is a great opportunity for a driven professionals from within the intralogistics sphere seeking a role with huge scope financially. 


 Responsibilities

  • Develop a key understanding of the companies range of light duty conveyors 
  • Form and develop relationships with key warehouse automation integrators, and other stakeholders within the warehousing & automation sphere 
  • Where possible, develop relationships with end user’s to include OEM’s, FMCG and 3PL’ s
  • Conduct site survey’s and detailed quotations in order to sell light duty conveyors, parts and servicing 
  • Attend various customer exhibitions and have the flexibility to travel where and when required 

Requirements

The company require an individual who is a self-starter and able to develop relationships successfully via various revenue streams. It is essential you have a strong sales track record from within intralogistics having worked either in warehouse automation/robotics, racking & storage, material handling or similar. Knowledge of conveyors would be preferable though not essential but a general warehousing appreciation and the ability to provide a consultative approach is essential. This is a role with a lot of scope so would suit an individual who is motivated to build something long term and grow with the organization. In terms of location, the coverage is the whole of North America but those located in the Mid West or West are of particular interest.

As such, they’re now seeking a national sales person to manage and develop their client base across the US.
