Alexander James Recruiting are currently working with an industry leading provider of Heavy Plant equipment looking to on-board a new Technician to service their client base across Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas. Responsibilities
- Servicing plant equipment for a client base across Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas
- Carrying out pre-delivery inspections and preparing and attachments etc. for customers
- Travelling to customer sites across the region as and when required
- Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment
- Representing the company in a professional manner whilst on customer sites
- Carrying out all related service paperwork
- Working closely with the department manager and the sales team to ensure the service is provided efficiently and effectively
Requirements
The company have a preference for an individual with experience working as a Plant Technician in the past having worked on a variety of types of plant equipment. It is also essential that you hold an NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Plant Maintenance. You will be able to work well on your own with your own initiative and have good customer facing skills. You will also need to have a full, clean UK driver’s license. In terms of location, you will need to be based within commutable distance of Gloucester.
