Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading provider of warehouse barriers, bollards and protection solutions who require a Service Planner to assist with the coordinating of projects across the UK from their office in the West Midlands. Responsibilities
- Managing barrier/protection projects internally for a customer base across the UK from the office in the West Midlands
- Preparing project plans through calculating installation prices, durations and the resources required
- Collaborating closely with the sales team in the organization of installations teams for projects
- Working closely with the installations teams in providing technical plans and materials
- Ensuring that you monitor sites throughout the duration of the projects with both safety and quality being adhered to
- Occasionally travel to site with bigger projects to prepare for project start-up
Requirements
Our client are ideally looking to a bring on an individual with a background of overseeing projects within intralogistics or a closely related industry. They would also be open to candidates with a background in installations, design or coordination within the industry. A university degree in a technical subject would also be preferable but not essential. It is essential that you have a full UK driver’s license as there will be a requirement to travel to site. In terms of location, you must live within commutable distance of Wolverhampton.

The Company
An international supplier of various barrier and protection products to a number of sectors our client has been established for a number of years and has a solid reputation. They supply a number of industries to include retail, airports, material handling and healthcare to name a few and their quality of products has enabled them to push into some household names as customers. The range of products they supply include barriers, bollards, rack protection. They are now looking to expand their installations team in the office.
