Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading supplier pallet racking & storage systems looking to grow their projects/sales department and bring on a new Project Manager to assist with project delivery and sales quotes. With a competitive basic salary and a good overall package, this is a great opportunity for an individual working within the racking industry looking to get into a new role.
Responsibilities
- Delivering Racking & Storage projects across Yorkshire and the UK
- Following up on in-bound sales leads and enquiries for racking & storage products
- Preparing sales quotations and cost estimations for customers whilst advising and making recommendations based on your experience and product knowledge
- Creating project schedules through evaluating material availability and managing client expectations
- Working closely with clients and external suppliers to ensure projects are delivered effectively and travelling to site when needed
- Assisting with other areas of the business as and when required
Requirements
Our client is interested in speaking with individuals that have a strong background in the Racking & Storage industry with an understanding of projects. They would be open to individuals with experience in sales, project management, design, installations, coordinating or indeed any other role within the industry provided you have a strong grasp of health & safety practices within the industry and are a confident communicator. It is also essential that you hold a full, clean driver’s license. In terms of location, you must be based within commutable distance of Wakefield as the role will be office based.

Having operated for 40 years, the company is a specialist supplier of used Racking & Storage equipment operating across Yorkshire and the UK. They hold a high volume of stock at their warehouse and are thus able to supply their warehousing and industrial customer base with efficient solutions to their storage needs and requirements. They are now looking to expand the team and add another head to projects/sales department.
