Job Description

Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading supplier of various racking and storage solutions looking to expand their operations across the US. Having completed project in North America previously, our client is seeking an entrepreneurial individual to setup and grow their US operations and are willing to provide share options for the right individual.  

Responsibilities

  • Business development across the US with a likely focus on Eastern time states
  • Generate new business by visiting customers on site, conducting site surveys and providing customer quotes for racking and other equipment
  • Where necessary, create CAD designs 
  • Providing a consultative sales approach in order to win new business in the sales of racking and storage solutions
  • Take ownership of each individual project from start to finish 
  • Take responsibility for region revenue stream and overall growth

Requirements 

The company require an individual with previous racking experience in a sales capacity. You will be proactive in your approach to selling and will ideally have experience of conducting site surveys and providing detailed quotations. Knowledge of CAD would be advantageous but not essential. Ultimately, our client is looking for an individual who has a thirst for upscaling a business and can see the long term benefits of such a venture. For the right individual share options will be available. In terms of location, you will preferably live around the Carolina’s or Florida though this is not essential.

The Company 

Our client are a national provider of various types of racking and storage systems in addition to office interior and refurbishment services. Having been established for a number of years they have a strong setup and footing in the racking market across Northern England. Their range of racking products include pallet, narrow aisle, push back and wide aisle in addition to shelving and are also involved in automation. Due to continued growth across the UK, they’re looking to expand their operations across North America.
