Alexander James Recruiting are currently working with a leading manufacturer of Material Handling equipment looking to onboard a new Site Engineer to maintain a fleet of trucks on a customer site in Doncaster. With a competitive basic salary and a number of other benefits, this is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to get into a new company.
Responsibilities
- Servicing a fleet of Material Handling equipment on a customer site in Doncaster focusing on forklift trucks
- Fixing and servicing other, related & specialist equipment to include bespoke forklifts and VNAs
- Ensuring excellent customer service and representing the company in the right way on customer site
- Adhering to both the company’s and customer’s health & safety policies whilst working on site
Requirements
The company have a preference for an individual from a material handling background due to the requirements of the role; however, this is not essential. They will also consider candidates with a background working within a closely related industry such as plant equipment, automotive, commercial vehicles or similar. You will be able to work well on your own and as part of a team whilst being able to develop your skillset and learn as you go. In terms of location, you will need to be based within commutable distance of Doncaster.
