Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading supplier of various racking and storage solutions looking to recruit a new Trade Sales Manager to develop their racking distribution relationships. With a competitive package and scope for growth this is a great opportunity for an experienced racking individual or related industry sales & customer service focused professional seeking a new and exciting challenge.
Responsibilities
- Managing an existing client base of racking trade accounts across the UK
- Develop new racking trade accounts
- Provide strong technical support to distributors seeking to buy a variety of racking, shelving and storage products
- Provide quotes and process incoming orders, liaise with the manufacturer, arrange deliveries and deal with any issues
- Keeping the CRM system updated and maintaining organization with customers
- Upsell other products
Requirements
The company ideally require an individual with previous racking experience in a sales capacity, though individuals with a strong technical understanding may also be considered. Racking & storage experience is by no means essential and our client are open minded to individuals from other backgrounds either from trade/distribution sales or customer service. An individual with a versatile background and the ability to adapt to ever changing scenario’s is key. The right individual will live within the Yorkshire area as they will be working from the office.

Our client are a national provider of various types of racking and storage systems in addition to office interior and refurbishment services. Having been established for a number of years they have a strong setup and footing in the racking market across the UK. Their range of racking products include pallet, narrow aisle, push back and wide aisle in addition to shelving. Due to continued growth, they’re looking to take a number of new sales staff on.
