Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading provider of industrial batteries and related products. Focusing predominantly on the material handling sector, they are looking to bring on a new Trainee Battery Engineer to cover West London and surrounding. Responsibilities
- Servicing the company’s client base across Fife/Perth and Scotland
- Repairing and maintaining the company’s broad range of batteries used within the Material Handling industry
- Carrying out regular battery watering across customer sites
- Developing and understanding of the company’s products overtime and becoming a fully fledged engineer
- Reporting back to the Service Manager with regular updates
- Representing the company in the right way on customer sites and always maintaining customer service
Requirements
The company are ideally looking for a candidate with a basic mechanical/electrical understanding who is looking to get into a career with long-term career prospects. They would potentially be interested in candidates without any formal qualifications, provided they can show a good attitude and are ready to learn a new skill. It is vital for the requirements of this position that you hold a full, clean driver’s license and are based in commutable distance of Fife or Perth.
