Job Description
Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with one of the leading independent Material Handling equipment suppliers in the UK looking to recruit a new forklift engineer to work on their fleet of forklifts in their depot in Sheffield. Responsibilities
- Servicing a fleet of forklift trucks from the company’s depot in Sheffield
- Servicing other material handling equipment as and when required
- Repairing and restoring damaged forklifts so that they a ready for resale
- Cooperating with the Service Manager and Workshop Manager to ensure service is carried out efficiently
- Maintaining a safe and tidy workbench and overall workshop
Requirements
The company have a preference for an individual with experience within the Material Handling industry, however this isn’t essential. They would also be interested in speaking with candidates with a background in plant hire, powered access, commercial vehicles, automotive or other industries with a strong hydraulics/mechanical or diagnostics focus. In terms of location, you will ideally be based within commutable distance of Sheffield.

- Competitive salary dependent on experience (Up to £34,000 depending on experience)
